    By Participating in Exploration Kids! Enrichment Classes you Agree to our Terms of Service

    LIABILITY WAIVER:
    I hereby waive any and all liability of Exploration Kids! Enrichment the contractors, employees, agents and/or owners that may arise on the premises, or in class including illness, injury or death. I authorize Exploration Kids! Enrichment the contractors, employees, agents or owners, to instruct my child(ren) in dance and related activities while I recognize and understand the inherent dangers associated with such activities. I understand that there is an assumption of risk that my child(ren) are taking during dance and related activities. Should it become necessary for Exploration Kids! Enrichment or someone on Exploration Kids! Enrichment behalf to incur attorney’s fess and costs regarding my child(ren)’s participation in this activity, I agree to pay Exploration Kids! Enrichment reasonable costs and attorney’s fees if Exploration Kids! Enrichment is not held liable for me or my child(ren)’s injuries or damages. I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I or my child(ren) may cause or suffer while participating, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury myself.

    For Online Classes: 
    By Participating in an online class, the parent/guardian agrees to ensure that an adult (any individual ages 18 years or older) will be available to supervise their child during the duration of the activity. 

    PHOTO RELEASE:
    By participating in Exploration Kids! Enrichment classes you authorize the use of in-class photography. Please be aware we may use photos from class for posts in the private parent portal pages (most notably student of the month nominees). Unless otherwise requested, photos may also appear on our website, social media sites, and advertising. This Photo Release extends to our sister companies as well: Dance to Learn, LLC, Dancing Princess Parties and Florrie Flamingo. If you would not like your child’s image being used, please send us an email to registrations@explorationkidsenrichment.com

     
    VIDEO RELEASE:
    Exploration Kids! Enrichment uses in-class video footage for teacher and assistant training purposes as part of our ‘Dance to Learn!’® Teacher Certification and Exploration Kids! University. Videos are shared with Educators that have passed a background check via a password protected/member’s only website for certified Educator use only. Not all classes are videotaped. If you want to learn more about in-class videotaping and how that footage is used, please email us at

    Payment Policies and Procedures:   

    MONTHLY PAYMENTS:
    If you have elected to pay with a monthly payment option please be aware of the following: Beginning 9/1/2019 Exploration Kids! Enrichment will be processing recurring monthly payments through Pay Pal Subscriptions. These monthly recurring payments will begin on the date payment is made and you will receive a recurring monthly debit on that date for the number of months of the session. 

    **PLEASE NOTE** That monthly debits are deducted based on the date the first payment is made. If registering late in a session (after the start date) this means your automatic payments may continue after class has ended. For example: 

    If you register in a class that begins on the 15th of the month, but you register on the 20th of the month, your monthly debit will occur every month on the 20th. If class ends on the 15th of the following month, you will still receive a debit on the 20th of the month.     Users can view and manage all Pay Pal Automatic Payments from their Pay Pal Account and locating “My Subscriptions.”

     

    AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS DURATION:
    If you have elected to enroll in a Monthly Automatic Debit through Paypal, please be aware that automatic debit schedules run based on the total number of months in the session. For example ourFall Session typically runs from September to December. Therefore the Automatic Debit will run concurrently for 4 months. Months are not prorated for longer or shorter months. At the end of the 4 month period automatic payments end and you  are no longer enrolled in automatic debits. 

     

    ***Please note*** Automatic Debits DO NOT automatically renew to the next session, therefore if you wish for your child to continue their enrollment, you will be required to enroll in a new session and agree to a new automatic payment schedule for the new session.

    AUTOMATIC PAYMENT CANCELLATION:
    Automatic Debits are set up through Pay Pay Subscriptions. These subscriptions can be managed by logging into your Pay Pal Account and accessing your “My Subscriptions.”

    ***Please note*** That cancelling your Subscriptions via Pay Pal DOES NOT cancel your registration in the Exploration Kids! Enrichment Classes. To cancel your registration prior to the scheduled session end, we do require a 15 day written cancellation notice. This notice must be emailed to registrations@explorationkidsenrichment.com If we do not receive your written cancellation notice, you will still be liable for class tuition up until the date your cancellation notice is received or the end of the session which ever date occurs first. 

     

    CREDIT CARD EXPIRATION/ACCOUNT CHANGES:
    Upon the event your Credit Card or Debit Card changes while enrolled in Automatic Debits, you will need to log into your Pay Pal Account, and update the credit card information on file for your Subscription services. Failure to update your credit card information may result in declined payments and late fees.
    If a subscription payment fails at the start of the billing cycle, PayPal retries the payment every five days for a maximum of two retries until the next billing cycle is reached. If the second retry attempt fails, PayPal increments the failed payment count by one, places the failed payment amount in the outstanding balance, and adds it to the next billing cycle. Exploration Kids! Enrichment charges a $25 late fee for monthly payments not received after the 2nd Failed Attempt. If payment is not received by the following Billing Cycle your class registration will be cancelled. You will be unable to re-enroll in automatic monthly payments for a period of 6 months. 

     

    SESSION PAYMENTS:
    Session Payments are a one time non-recurring payment. When enrolling by the session you receive a discount of 10-15% (refer to your class description for the discount amount as it may vary). Your payment is applied towards all dates in the session including any dates that may be rescheduled for non-weather emergencies. Upon the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled during your session and  you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, you must notify Exploration Kids! Enrichment within 15 days of the missed class so we may apply your tuition credit for a future session. If you would prefer a refund you may request this within 15 days of the missed class. All requests for tuition credits or refunds must be sent to registrations@explorationkidsenrichment.com 

     

    STUDENT ABSENCES: 
    Upon the event your child is absent from class due to illness, vacation or another personal reason, you may attend an open enrollment class where applicable to make up for the missed class. If an open enrollment class is not available, you may request a tuition credit for a future session. This request for credit must be emailed to
    registrations@explorationkidsenrichment.com within 15 days of the absence. Tuition credits are available for up to 3 classes missed due to student absences. After 3 absences we can no longer offer tuition credits. Exploration Kids! Enrichment DOES NOT offer refunds for student absences. 

     

    SNOW DAY/INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
    Upon the event a class is cancelled due to weather related issues, the class will be moved to a virtual option through Zoom. Class will operate during regular class times. Zoom classes will be recorded and emailed to all registered families so it can be completed at each participant’s convenience. 

     

    CANCELLED OR MISSED CLASSES:
    Upon the event a class is cancelled or missed due to a non-weather emergency Exploration Kids! Enrichment offers any one of the following: 

    1. A rescheduled class. Rescheduled classes may occur as a doubled up class during the week or added at the end of the session. 
    2. A Credit for a Future Session. If we cannot reschedule the class, we will automatically apply a credit to your account to be applied to tuition in a future session. 
    3. We DO NOT apply refunds. If you wish to have a credit refunded for a missed class or session, you must notify Exploration Kids! Enrichment within 15 days of the missed class to request a refund. This request must be sent to registrations@explorationkidsenrichment.com Refunds are made to the credit or debit card used at the time of registration. After 15 days we will no longer be able to provide a refund. 

     

    PANDEMIC/NATURAL DISASTER POLICY:
    Upon the event your school or school district closes due to a natural event or emergency beyond the control of Exploration Kids! Enrichment we will move all classes to an online platform. Classes will be taught via Zoom so the instructor may interact with the students. Classes will also be recorded so families who work or need to provide extra help to their child my do so at a time that is convenient for them. As Exploration Kids! Enrichment will provide classes during these times we will NOT provide refunds. 

    Upon the event your family CANNOT complete virtual classes, you must notify Exploration Kids! Enrichment within 15 days of the first Virtual class to request cancellation from the class. This notice must be sent to registrations@explorationkidsenrichment.com Upon cancellation you will be provided either a tuition credit towards a future session or a refund. Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card used at the time of enrollment. WE CANNOT PROVIDE REFUNDS AFTER 15 DAYS. ANY CANCELLATION REQUESTIONS RECEIVED AFTER 15 DAYS OF THE FIRST VIRTUAL CLASS WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC TUITION CREDIT FOR A FUTURE SESSION. NO EXCEPTIONS.
